Seguin Township is embarking on an exciting initiative to develop unique tourism experiences that resonate with both visitors and locals. The "Enriching Tourism in Seguin Township" program aims to collaborate with community businesses, organizations, and/or individuals to create three new experiential tourism products in 2024.
Experiential tourism is about creating unique, immersive experiences that showcase the local culture, heritage, and natural beauty of a destination, offering visitors a deeper, more meaningful connection to the place and its community.
Would your Seguin business benefit from attracting more tourists? Let’s work together to create extraordinary experiences for tourists who visit ‘the natural place to be.’ Seguin Township is now accepting applications from local business owners who want FREE training on how to create memorable and meaningful tourism experiences that connect with visitors.

These initiatives will not only elevate Seguin as a tourism hotspot but also offer economic advantages and development prospects for the businesses and organizations involved. Our objective is to assist you in developing a tourism offering that is sustainable throughout the year and fosters collaboration within your community.
How to Participate
Interested in being a part of this innovative project? Here's how you can get involved:
Application Process: Complete our online application form to express your interest and share your ideas for a potential tourism experience that showcases Seguin's unique offerings.
Selection Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on creativity, alignment with sustainability goals, and the potential to deliver an engaging and memorable experience.
Program information, including the application, is also available in print at the Municipal Office (5 Humphrey Drive) or any Seguin Township Library branch.
Support and Guidance
Selected participants will receive coaching and support from KLB Consulting, including:
One-on-one coaching with industry experts.
Participation in experience development workshops.
Support in test-driving (or piloting) your experience before you launch it to the public.
Marketing, advertising, and digital asset creation support.
Support in bringing the experience to market, including the guidance of a customized marketing strategy.
Selection Criteria
What we’re looking for from potential participants:
Passion & Eagerness – The drive to share an idea and story as a new tourism attraction; open to exploring new possibilities; positive can-do attitude.
Time & Willingness To Commit This Year – Confirm that you are ready to invest the time and effort into the coaching and creation of a new experience in 2024.
Embracing & Leading in Sustainability – Confirm your values and approaches that demonstrate a commitment to prioritizing reduced waste, sustainability, and regenerative practices.
