April 22, 2025 UPDATE: Seguin Township is leading a public engagement exercise to gather data that will help inform next steps to enhance the Township's waste management strategy for long-term sustainability. This process was initiated based on Council direction shared at the April 7, 2025 Meeting of Council.

BACKGROUND

Seguin Township, in partnership with Dillon Consulting Limited, introduced its Solid Waste Management Strategy in 2023, outlining a 20-year plan. In 2025, an initial management review highlighted the need to explore financial challenges, operational efficiency opportunities, and alignment with the Township's vision, necessitating further public engagement.


TERMS + REFERENCES

Non-Seguin Township Resident: An individual who does not reside within the Township limits and therefore does not pay taxes to Seguin Township.
