Attainable housing in West Parry Sound (MZO)
Seguin Township MZO Application Update - March 8, 2022
On January 5, 2022 Seguin Township submitted a Minister's Zoning Order (MZO) application to the Minister of Municipal Affairs to rezone approximately 700 acres of land to allow for residential development. Submitting this application was a first step toward increasing attainable housing options in our region.
Read the November 15, 2021 announcement here for some background on the township's decision to use this tool to address the West Parry Sound area's critical housing shortage.
