July 31, 2025 UPDATE: Seguin Township is hosting a public information session to explore the draft findings of our Waste Management Review. This in-depth assessment examines current operations, budget impacts, and the effects of Seguin’s evolving demographics. It also includes analysis of non-resident waste, cost projections, and strategies to manage rising expenses. Four potential scenarios will be presented to help streamline the Township’s waste system for improved efficiency and service.

BACKGROUND
Seguin Township, in partnership with Dillon Consulting Limited, introduced its Solid Waste Management Strategy in 2023, outlining a 20-year plan. In 2025, an initial management review highlighted the need to explore financial challenges, operational efficiency opportunities, and alignment with the Township's vision, necessitating further public engagement.
Non-Seguin Township Resident: An individual who does not reside within the Township limits and therefore does not pay taxes to Seguin Township.
